(Ten (10) days and nights living in a wilderness area in Southern Arizona)

This course will be conducted by the renowned Survival Expert, Robert Withrow. Robert was the Chief Instructor for the prestigious Boulder Outdoor Survival School (BOSS) in Utah for several years where Robert planned and conducted his courses using his deep knowledge of his Indian heritage and native survival skills. Robert is an acknowledged expert in flint knapping, tanning hides, trapping, locating water, obtaining food, desert navigation and staying alive in extreme conditions.

This course is ideal for police officers and sheriff’s deputies from rural and desert areas. Border Patrol officers, BICE officers, Federal agents such as the DEA, US Marshals Service and other agents who find themselves in arid country in order to fulfill their duties effectively. Pilots, surveyors, geologists and others who venture out in the desert would also do well to attend this course.

Purpose: To instill the ability to “stay alive and functioning” when cut off from supply lines,  when gear is lost  or when nature has gained control.
